Blake Shelton is an American country music singer and television personality known for his long run of chart‑topping hits. He broke through in 2001 with his debut single “Austin,” which held the number‑one spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for five weeks. His self‑titled debut album delivered two more top‑20 hits, “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red,” and later earned Platinum certification.

Shelton kept the momentum going with his next albums. The Dreamer (2003) went Gold, and Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill (2004) reached Platinum. His fourth album, Pure BS, arrived in 2007 and was re‑issued in 2008 with a popular cover of Michael Bublé’s “Home.” He followed it with Startin’ Fires in 2008. In 2010, he released two EPs—Hillbilly Bone and All About Tonight. More hit albums followed, including Red River Blue (2011), Based on a True Story… (2013), Bringing Back the Sunshine (2014), If I’m Honest (2016), Texoma Shore (2017), and Fully Loaded: God’s Country (2019).

Shelton has charted 40 singles, including 28 number‑one hits. Seventeen of those reached number one in a row. His 11th consecutive chart‑topper, “Doin’ What She Likes,” set a new record for the most back‑to‑back number‑one singles in the Country Airplay chart’s 24‑year history.

Throughout his career, Blake Shelton has earned nine Grammy nominations, including two for Best Country Album. His mix of chart success, TV presence, and loyal fan support has made him one of the most recognizable names in modern country music.
