Where Luke Bryan comes from

Bryan grew up on a peanut farm in Leesburg, a small town in southwest Georgia. Family loss shaped his early life, and he put off a move to Nashville for years before finally taking the leap.

Songwriter first

In Nashville he wrote songs for other artists, including Billy Currington’s “Good Directions”, before landing his own deal. His debut single, “All My Friends Say”, arrived in 2007.

The party years

Tailgates & Tanlines (2011) and Crash My Party (2013) made him a superstar, built on easy-going anthems and well-placed ballads. Kill the Lights (2015) then produced six Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 singles, the most ever from one album on that chart.
